Recently I have talked about some interesting “scary” mathematical concepts (Napier’s Bones, Witch of Agnesi). Hopefully you have found time to transform them into some posters or something interesting for this Halloween. So, why not talk about pumpkins? Everyone loves pumpkins for autumn/Halloween.
Firstly I will talk about Scott Cummins. He has been doing this for years and the pieces are incredible. A lot of imagination and creativity on his part. He also has some video-tutorials on his page which show you how good he is and how incredible and time consuming is his art.

But even if we totally like those scary pumpkin, if there is nothing mathematical then it doesn’t feel right. So if you decide that you really want to be extremely artistic with your pumpkins you could try:
Have fun this Halloween. Hope you liked this small post. Thank you for your help and support. You can find me on Facebook, Tumblr, Google+, Twitter,Instagram and Lettrs, I will try to post there as often as possible. Don’t forget that maths is everywhere! Enjoy!
