This week I was looking through my lecture notes from PCMI I realized I had so many funny quotes from teachers and students. I have found them incredibly funny and they made me remember more of the wonderful atmosphere. For those of you that don’t know, here are the weekly posts about my experience at PCMI: 1st Week of PCMI, 2nd Week at PCMI, 3rd Week at PCMI. Let’s have fun:

• Teacher: “Start accessible to everybody and end accessible to nobody”;
• Teacher: “I wanna give you a dirty secret; Let’s do the character table for C3”;
• Teacher: “Very important! You will die if you try to multiply traces”;
• Teacher: “This may not make any sense on you, but it should!”;
• Teacher: “Very innocent looking groups kill you on lifting problems”;
• Teacher: “We gotta tame the function!”;
• Teacher: “I had a teacher who wrote an entire master’s thesis on this, but we’ll do it really quick”;
• Teacher: “If you have seen it, show it to your friends. If you have not seen it, get a friend!”;
• Teacher: “The Zaristky topology is like Texas, there is nothing small in there”;
• Student: “I’m having psychological problems with ½ being smaller than 1/3” (the teacher made a “small” mistake at the blackboard and the student had the perfect quoestion/remark);
•  Teacher: “Come on, we’re adults, we know that the real numbers are not the right numbers to work with!”;
• Teacher: “You are undergrads. You here in this room will know each other for the rest of your life. What you really want to do is asking really dumb questions, so that everybody else is rolling their eyes. And then, in a few years, when you win the Fields medal, everyone will grown”;
• Teacher: “The complex projective plane is the right place to live!”;
• Teacher: “For mathematicians science should be viewed as numbers in boxes”;
• Student: “Are we supposed to understand that?” Teacher:  “Well, you are supposed to believe…”;

Besides the long lectures and quite hard notes and homework, I had fun at the lectures. Hope you enjoyed these quotes. Have a wonderful day. Thank you for your support. Hope you are all having fun this summer. Thank you for your help and support. Thank you for reading. You can find me on FacebookTumblr, Google+,  TwitterInstagram and Lettrs, I will try to post there as often as possible. Don’t forget that maths is everywhere! Enjoy!
