Sand and Geometry

We are so close to the end of summer and I feel that this summer has passed so incredibly fast. So I thought that some interesting sand art would go perfect with the feeling. Artist Calvin Seibert (previously) recently completed a new series of his geometrically precise sand castles on the beaches of Hawaii. A professional sculptor, Seibert seems to borrow angular ideas from Bauhaus architecture or the flair of Frank Gehry. I have always liked his art a lot (Geometry & Art ), enjoy:
